| Browsing on a New Tab Why can't internet explorer have a little toolbar beneath the search engine where we can place a quick launch for websites. All we would have to do is drag the website(www.hotmail.com) to it and when ever we open i.e again we just click on it and it takes us there. Also why are there frequent updates for i.e? Like new versions with upgrades and fixes? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. | Re: Browsing on a New Tab Leonard is right, Buddy. In the address bar, type in a webpage such as www.hotmail.com, etc.... When the page opens, drag the icon from the webpage (in the address bar) to your Links bar. To enable links bar, on the IE toolbar, right click and check Links so it will become visible. -- Gistcheckin "Leonard Grey" wrote: > Open Internet Explorer, press F1 and read about the Links bar. > > --- > Leonard Grey > Errare humanum est > > buddy wrote: > > Why can't internet explorer have a little toolbar beneath the search engine > > where we can place a quick launch for websites.
