Top of page when Going back with back button

I have a problem that drives me nuts like if i'm on ebay... and i click
on a item then go back it returns back to the top of the page not when i left
off... does anyone know how to change this..... it always worked fine and
would go right back to where i was not the top and now with the newer
version on exploer its not doing that?

That is controlled by the coding in the web page, not by Internet Explorer.

I had the same problem in IE6,

BUT it turns out to be the Logitech mouse software called SETPOINT.

I removed it and the mouse back key worked OK.
