| Bad Gateway 502 OK.. I'm stumped. My IE 7 appears to be working fine. I can access all websites I have every wanted with one exception. What is this exception? I recently installed MS Reporting Services on this computer. All went well. When I try to access the http:// site where all of my reports have been deployed, IE 7 shows a blank page with the message: "Bad Gateway 502". [code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL. I have tried using another Browser (Firefox) and it accesses the page just fine. I have even went one step further by trying to access the http site from another computer (also using IE7) via an Intranet. It works fine. I have never seen any othe webpage that I have tried to access have a problem. Only this one. Where can I make changes. It is not asking me for a password. It is not even partially bringing up the webpage. I have tried clearing all history. I have tried to check the settings in the IIS section. I have updated my IE7. I have even uninstalled IE7 and tried to use IE6 but to no avail. I am using XP Professional. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Pat |

Details would help narrow them down. Alternatively you could try installing FiddlerTool and seeing exactly what the differences are between the requests and responses for your two cases. Also, then you might like to see if Firefox is still as successful or gets the same results if you spoof an MSIE 7.0 User-Agent with it. ; } Alternatively use telnet 80 to simulate the first GET to that server. Etc. > > Where can I make changes. It is not asking me for a password. It is not > even partially bringing up the webpage. > > I have tried clearing all history.
