| Website Login Failure I am helping my employee with a login failure to a healthcare website when using her home computer, which has internet explorer 7 recently installed by a tech service. Entering the correct username and password refreshes the page or kicks it back one page, without successfully completing the login. There is no error message. When a different computer is used the login to the same site it is succesful. When loging into a different website on the computer in question the login process is also succesful; we have so far identified two separate websites where the failure to log occurs using correct userid and password entries, and verified other websites where loging happens smoothly. I turned off Pop Blocker without any good results. Any ideas? Thanks, pportmd |

| RE: Website Login Failure Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab Scroll Down to Security Ensure Use SSL 3.0 is checked Ensure Use TLS 1.0 is checked If both are enabled, uncheck Use TLS 1.0 Check SSL 2.0 Click ok See if that helps. Also, have you compared configurations on computers to determine the difference in IE settings? -- Gistcheckin "pportmd" wrote: > I am helping my employee with a login failure to a healthcare website when > using her home computer, which has internet explorer 7 recently installed by > a tech service. > > Entering the correct username and password refreshes the page or kicks it > back one page, without successfully completing the login. | RE: Website Login Failure SSL 2.0 and 3.0 were checked and TLS unchecked on my machine, where the login worked fine, and on hers it was the same configuration, where the login fails. I tried SSL 2.0 and TLS checked without success prior to my entry yesterday. I will try other combinations next time I'm at the computer. Thanks.
