How to tell when an address was added to the drop-down menu

There are a few addresses in my drop-down list of addresses that I don't
recognize, and I'm wondering how to see when they were accessed. I found
through regedit where you can see the list of addresses, but I haven't been
able to find a way to see when they accessed.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: How to tell when an address was added to the drop-down menu

Dan:

The drop-down list shows addresses that were typed into the Address bar.

Can you give us an example of an address in the drop down list that you
don't recognize?

And please: When asking a question about Internet Explorer, we need to
know which version you have and which version of Windows.

I'm using IE 7. The computer in question is shared, so I don't doubt that the
addresses were typed; I'm just trying to determine when they were entered.

Re: How to tell when an address was added to the drop-down menu

Still have to guess at your Windows version.

There's no way to determine when an address was typed (or pasted) into
the Address bar. There may be third-party parental control-type software
that has that capability but I am not personally aware of such software.

Re: How to tell when an address was added to the drop-down menu

Hello Dan,

To find out which pages were accessed when, I recommend using the history
center (Ctrl+H). There you can view the sites visted sorted by date or you
can search for a particular address as well, for example for one from the
drop-down list. Then right-click on an entry and go to properties to see
when the page was accessed.

Best regards,
