| MS07-033 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer I was just wondering if anybody else had had this problem!! After installing the above security update my internet explorer stopped working. I could still download updates for programs and ping websites etc, but internet explorer wouldn'y work for love nor money. After doing a system restore to a couple of days earlier it was this update that was causing the issues, one of my customers had the same problem yesterday! So just for the sake of people like me, if you uninstall this update Internet Explorer works again, although windows update does try to reinstall it again on the next date, and yes I am aware that I have used much too many commas in this sentence. Does anybody know a proper fix for this issue?? Thanks. |

| Re: MS07-033 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer I'm using Windows Vista Business, I use Panda Antivirus, in fact, my customer did also so this may be an issue and Panda also acts as a firewall. I checked all the settings on there and they seemed fine. Thanks for your response. | Re: MS07-033 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer Thats a fair comment but in fairness if I was controlling the updates myself, I probably still would have installed te update for IE7... "OGT" wrote: > Stop to use automatic update, it is a nightmare. > Olivier > > > |

| Re: MS07-033 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer If you disable Panda Antivirus and firewall (?) and then reinstall 933566, does this behavior persist? If so, does this behavior persist when running as Admin? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org Neil Dallaway wrote: > I'm using Windows Vista Business, I use Panda Antivirus, in fact, my > customer did also so this may be an issue and Panda also acts as a > firewall.
