| Internet Explorer 7 links won't open My browser was working fine then all of a sudden when I'm on a page and I try to open a link it won't work. Example on QVC website and I want to see the 24 hour review. It opens the page for me to set my time zone but it never resets the time zone it just keeps reloading the same page. Anyone with any ideas on what happened. |

| RE: Internet Explorer 7 links won't open I was unable to reproduce the same behavior on my unit. Try the following: 1) Have you tried No Add-Ons Mode? Right click on the desktop icon and select Start Without Add-ons. 2) Tools>Internet Options>General Tab Under Browsing History click on Settings Click on View Objects Do you see any listed with a Yellow Shield with Exclamation Mark inside? Right click on all of them and select remove On the remaining objects listed, right click and select properties. Click on Dependency Tab Do you see Damaged listed? If you do, then click Ok, Right click on it again and this time click on Remove When you are finished, close the Downloaded Programs Window Click Ok twice Reboot 3) Test your Java Installation to ensure you have the most current version installed. http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml 4) Test both your Flash and Shockwave Players http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ 5) Are you using Security Software with Protection Guard? Try disabling Protection Guard. -- Gistcheckin "gozeemer" wrote: > I am having the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? | RE: Internet Explorer 7 links won't open Thanks so much for you response. Well I tried all that and I did have some damaged files but nothing seems to have helped. What I don't get is that it was working a week ago and now it doesn't. Anyone have any other suggestions. "Gistcheckin" wrote: > I was unable to reproduce the same behavior on my unit. | RE: Internet Explorer 7 links won't open You have to hold the "Ctrl" key while you click on the link, then it will open. "Gistcheckin" wrote: > What operating system? Vista?
