Windows version? What Cumulative Security Update for IE7? Are you
attempting to install it via Windows/Automatic Update?

How does it "fail"? Is Automatic Updates enabled? Is 'Security Update for
Windows Internet Explorer 7 (KB931768)' listed in Add/Remove Programs (make
sure Show Updates box is checked)?

I did all of these things and that update still will not install (I
downloaded the standalone installer). The message I get on both my Vista
Basic desktop and Vista Premium laptop is "The update does not apply to your
system." When I run Windows Update it says I have all the updates. Belarc
Advisor is telling me I need this critical update installed.
