| How to remove IE from Windows Vista? Anyone please help me to completely remove the IE from Windows Vista since I prefer to use Firefox. IE doesn't work with my language typing tool but Firefox. And even I have set Firefox as default handler for internet, but when I click some link like Yahoo Mail notification then IE still launched. Please help. |

| Re: How to remove IE from Windows Vista? Hi, You may be able to remove access to IE7. From Control Panel> Default Programs> Set program access and defaults> Custom> click the down chevron on the right> make Fx the default and uncheck "Enable access" to IE. Also... from Control Panel> Windows Update> Change settings, make sure that an option *other than* "Never check" is selected. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "nrg" <nrg@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:43235002-13EB-48D4-9056-49FFDB4F3D03@microsoft.com... > Anyone please help me to completely remove the IE from Windows Vista since I > prefer to use Firefox.
