How to refresh a page

I use a Macintosh, and I'm trying to help a friend using IE to refresh a new
page on a web site (the page was, changed, but he can't see the update).
I've recommended he press the Refresh button, but that didn't do it. I've
advised him to go into Preferences, find Advanced, then Cache, and set it to
update pages ALWAYS. He tells me "...have looked very carefully and under
internet options- advanced, there is no listing of cache. Also there is no
preference to update page."

Since I don't have a Windows version of IE, can someone advise me what to
tell him to do?

Others, using Windows, as well as Mac, have no problem updating this page.

Ed

Re: How to refresh a page

F5 will refresh a webpage, Ed.

The option you're looking for is under IE Tools > Internet Options > General
> Temporary Internet Files (IE6) or Browsing History (IE7) > Settings >

Check for newer versions...
