| IE 7 always running in background not in a window but always present when looking at task manager, and when I slelect it and end process it goes away but than it just comes roght back and using memory but never visibale in a window to use. and if I start IE7 it shows as a send instance of that process/application in task manager and in a actual window to use. how do I kill this phantom IE running and eating up memory |

For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you owe it to the author.
