| Back Button Retrieves Old Version In IE7, I have noticed that the Back Button will sometimes retrieve old (not current) version of the previous page. Example: start with current version of CNN home page; click to look at one of the stories; back button brings up CNN home page from several hours ago. It seems like IE7 is not set to always get fresh content. Any solutions? Thanks. Ted |

| Re: Back Button Retrieves Old Version I am not familiar with 'internet accelerator' software. Can you provide any examples that might jog my memory, as I do not recall installing anything like this. Thanks. | Re: Back Button Retrieves Old Version Numerous toolbars (including those from dial-up ISPs especially) include such accelerators. Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode: 1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; 2. Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No add-ons). More: Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/25/678113.aspx Does the problem persist if you Reset IE7 Settings (RIES)? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 <=read this before using! -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org koala824 at Comcast wrote: > I am not familiar with 'internet accelerator' software.
