morning coffee

There is a firefox add-on called Morning Coffee that tracks sets of favorites
to allow them to be launched as a group. One group for each day, "all the
sites I like to look at while having my morning coffee", or words to that
extent.

How can I mimic this functionality in IE7? Doesn't seem that hard, but I'm
not finding a solution. I don't want to just set up a long string of
homepages, because I don't want the set to launch every time I start up IE,
just upon demand.

Make sense?

That's easy. Open the tabs that you want grouped together. When
they're all open, click the Add to Favorites button (it's at the left
side of your tabs, the smaller gold star with a green plus sign in front
of it). After you click the button, you'll see the option to 'Add Tab
Group to Favorites'. Once you have the group in your Favorites, you can
open one tab at a time, as you normally would, or you can open all in
the group by clicking the blue arrow that shows up to the right of the
folder that they're in.

Re: morning coffee

Hi JS,

Open the Organize Favorites dialog. Favorites>Organize Favorites.
Create a new folder in your favorites directory, say call it Morning Coffee
(or to place it at the top of your Favorites list AAA-Morning Coffee). Drag
and drop the links that you want to add to this group.

When you open the Favorites centre and hover the mouse over "Morning Coffee"
you will see a blue arrow appear on the right of the favorites centre, next
to the current folder. Either click on the arrow or press Ctrl+Enter to open
the folder as a tab group.

Also you can create a tab group favorite by selecting the Favorites>Add tab
group to Favorites menu option.

Regards.

Re: morning coffee

You can also open a set of tabs as your home page(s). You can either add the
pages one at a time by clicking the down arrow by the home page button, and
selecting Add or change home page, and selecting Add this webpage to your
home page tabs, or through tools. Click Tools and then Internet Options. On
the top of the General Tab, you can add the URL's for webpages in the
multiline textbox there. Just make sure you have only one URL per line.
Click OK when you're done.

For more info on that see:

Hope this helps,

-Jay
