RE: IE7 issues

I still have the problem. My machine is running vista. What I see in what you
sent, is for xp. My connection active, and my router is functioning properly.
I can ping yahoo and google, thru the command prompt... My laptop, which has
xp, is browsing fine, while hooked thru the router. I just have the problem
with my new Dell desktop, which is running vista

Contact your router vendor or re-seller and ask for assistance in setting it up correctly.

Re: IE7 issues

I have spent many hours talking on the phone with my router vendor (linksys),
many hours with dell, and my ISP. None have offered a solution. My next move
is calling microsoft. Just thought I would try this forum for help. I have
had this computer since Thursday. I am very unhappy with Dell support. They
have offered little help. Told them I am ready to pack it up and send it back.

I'm truly sorry to hear of the lack of support that you have received.
The *router vendor* is who really dropped the ball...
Please post back you Windows Version and specific router model number.
Perhaps some users that has same will chime in with some tips.
An alternative is to try here; http://www.dslreports.com/forum/equip,16

Good luck! Waiting to hear back from you.

Re: IE7 issues

Reinstall the router from scratch (assuming it's supported in Vista).

Which may result in the OP chasing his own tail, I think calling the OEM is the
best deal <w>
