| synchronizing or managing IE (6or7) passwords for many users I work in IT admin department of small IT company. We have 35 employees. Our employees are supposed to logon to site say www.abcxyz.com for them to be able to work. They use IE as browser on XPSP2. They store this password within IE using its autocomplete feature. Because of security concerns, password to www.abcxyz.com is changed every 10 days. At present, we manually go to each PC/employee and handover new password to them so that they continue to work using IE. Is there a possibility whereby we could replicate latest password to their PCs automatically. Thanks Rg |

| RE: synchronizing or managing IE (6or7) passwords for many users Visit Windows Marketplace and check IE plug ins, a top ranked plug in is Roboform that saves password more secure. Then the user can have more complexed password and they don't need to change them so often. The web page they use.. can't you use certificate together wxith password, then you are more secure and don't have to be afraid that people can sniff the password in clear text as well. It also detects password change forms. You only need to create a password database backup and distribute to all your employees every time the password changes. |

You only need to create a new password database backup everytime the site password changes and distribute it by email to all employees. |
