| Re: Internet Explorer hangs with Runtime Error! Windows Vista Ultimate IE 7 that came with windows updates are on auto Was switching from outlooki 2003 to ie by clicking on ie window This happens all the time when an ie window is open for some time and can die in the background and I don't know until I try to get back to it. I have disabled all add ons except java so I can see td ameritrade streamer. so far so good. but the only programs there were from microsoft and seem to be part of windows except for one titled "research". There are two others "create mobile favorite and create mobile favorite..." I'm not sure if that has to do with my pda sync or not. "PA Bear" wrote: > Windows version? IE version? | Re: Internet Explorer hangs with Runtime Error! ..I have not had that offer but I'm not sure which page you are refurring to. This is the first time I've been back here as IE was hanging as soon as it started. The only Add-on that is enabled now is XML DOM Document. I'm going to start up my usual td-ameritrade urls and see what happens today. I just got the same message in IE the first time I restored the IE window after starting Quicken 2007 Premiere. I have not recognized a connection here with Quicken but it is very possible. I do have problems with Quicken as far as erratic behavior of a mouse with it. I will keep track of this to see if there is a connection. | Re: Internet Explorer hangs with Runtime Error! I did need an update to flash player which was successful. Picking up from the last note, IE was working fine with Quicken still running until I did a download in quicken from the internet. When the download was over, I had a message on the bar at the bottom of the screen and it was the same error message I had previously received. That was before the Flash update so I will test that out now. "PA Bear" wrote: > [John is running IE7 in Vista.] > > Oops! | Re: Internet Explorer hangs with Runtime Error! I have another error popup that happens at the same time as the previous error popup or just after closing the hung browser and it is: Desktop window manager stopped working and was closed---A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available. I strongly suspect that it is Quicken premiere 2007 that is causing the problem as this happened again shortly after starting quicken and doing the daily download from TD Ameritrade. Quicken seems to be a failure in mouse use and video with vista as the mouse is erractic and the screen is flashing all te time in quicken. I had worked on the computer with lots of programs running including several iexplorer windows for 8 or 9 hours without a problem and it happen right after starting quicken and downloading. Let me know what you think. "John" wrote: > I did need an update to flash player which was successful.
