i'm having a problem loading images on all my internet browsing
programs(firefox, IE7 etc). I have tried manually loading them by
right-clicking and clicking "show picture", but it does not work (a box with
a X is still there). i have also tried clearing my cache and going back to
the page to reload it, but the pictures still wont load. i have also tried to
refresh the page but the problem remains. my internet connection is 512kbs
dsl so my internet connection is no problem. this happens to me on most
websites that have lot's of images to load, (myspace, and any website with
lots of images), some of the images work but for the most part the images
wont load.

this problem occurred just recently when i upgraded my computer to windows
vista, but it use to work fine before i upgraded to windows vista. is anyone
else having this problem??

Hi,
If this affects both browsers, it sounds like a third-party security
program, antivirus, security suite, firewall, etc. may be the cause.

Be sure to turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall
before disabling a third-party firewall or security suite.

Working just on IE7, I would:
1. Disable the Phishing Filter (just to test)
2. Clear the cache again and set it's size to less than 100 MB
3. Start IE7 without add-ons. See if you have a troublesome add-on.

I am having the same problem. Once i upgraded I am unable to see most of the
pictures on my webpages.
