| Error when closing IE When I close the IE 7.0 window, I get a dialog box showing: iexplore.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x74985c91" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. How can I stop this from happening? |

| Re: Error when closing IE Hi, You probably have an incompatible browser add-on. See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp for troubleshooting information. Installing the latest version of the troublesome add-on may resolve this, or the add on may not yet be compatible with IE7. The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other security, privacy, ad-blocking programs to see if one of them is causing the problem. Any program that interacts with Internet Explorer could be causing this. The connection with IE may not be obvious, such as Google Desktop. A firewall will probably not be causing this problem, but turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a third-party firewall or security suite.
