I don't even understand what the above means for me to do! Can you explain
further?

The problem is on my mom's PC, and she doesn't want to give up her Google
toolbar. (Neither would I; and why should we have to? Is MicroSoft just
trying to take over the market in search engines as well? Why can't I have
both? Seems like MS just keeps making things more difficult all the time...I
don't understand why they don't wait until they've adequately tested
something new before releasing it...sorry, I'll stop ranting now.... <G>)

Anyway, can you offer any advice?

P.S. Can I uninstall the Google Toolbar and then *re*install it somehow?

Did you go to those sites?

Uninstall the Google toolbar and install the latest version from Google.
