| FIRST TIME in new window,Internet Explorer cannot display the webp This is a different situation than the ones I've read. I've been using IE7 for a while now with no problems. Changed ISPs two days ago to a new DSL service. When I open a NEW browser window, the FIRST page I try to access gives me the " Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error. If I reload, it works OK. Every new tab opened in that window also works with no problem. This only happens in NEW browser the first time. My ISP has shoved the problem off to MSFT; they refuse to help. Yeah, I'm pissed. I can try to remedies listed in message 926431, but the fact that I can get the pages to load by reloading implies to me that I really don't have a connection problem. Any ideas, anyone? Is there an IE setting I can change to fix this? Thanks in advance! |

| Re: FIRST TIME in new window,Internet Explorer cannot display the webp Hi, See if setting a blank home page (Internet Options> General) makes a difference. Next, see if you have a troublesome browser add-on. See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp for troubleshooting information. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "Steve Adams" <SteveAdams[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:03C6DB01-38F7-4A3C-85CE-B476687F3698@microsoft.com... > This is a different situation than the ones I've read. > > I've been using IE7 for a while now with no problems.
