| position of window when opening I know that, at some time in the past, there was a thread talking about how to get windows to open on the desktop at a position that you chose. Can anyone remember when that was or how I can get to it? Thanks. |

| Re: position of window when opening I think that if you close the window using "File" and then "close" that will work. Closing the window with the "X" symbol does not do this. | Re: position of window when opening Hello, IE and other programs usually remember the position of the last closed window. I have written a small command-line utility that can be used to open IE and other applications at predefined positions on your desktop. It is also possible to use the command in desktop shortcuts. http://www.quero.at/launcher.php Best regards, Viktor Krammer -- http://www.quero.at/ The New Web Experience |
