Dave,

I've found this to be a major problem as well. We have a photo gallery that
uses opacity animation with jpgs and gifs. When I added support for alpha
pngs into our gallery, during opacity animation the png would drop to binary
transparency. It looks awful.

We really need native opacity support in IE7. Can this be addressed as a
patch please????
