Internet Explorer has stopped working

I installed Vista Home Premium Edition and after the installation I am unable
to open Internet Explorer 7. Of course I am unable to uninstall or install
IE7, so I have no idea how to fix it.

RE: Internet Explorer has stopped working

You can give this a try
Start > Right click on computer > Locate Internet Options > Advanced tab >
Click reset right at the bottom.
Hope this helps :)

You're posting using the web interface, so why not try a search with it?

E.g. you can use the same Subject that you wrote above:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...xp=&sloc=en-us

(web interface search for
"internet Explorer has stopped working"
)

You can even use the Answered Questions filter to make your browsing
possibly more effective... ; )

RE: Internet Explorer has stopped working

Thanks, but it didn't work. I did get another message saying that
rundll32.exe had also stopped working after I changed the options though.

Same issue in reference to WMP 11. Scroll down to the last post for DEP
disable info.

See if that helps.

What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Start Without
Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No Add-ons).
