| HP Files 4 New Patent Suits Against Acer According to AHN: HP sued Acer for patent infringement last month, claiming that Acer was infringing on its patents for technologies such as read/write optical drives, power management in notebooks and digital bus arrangement. In HP's latest complaint, the company alleges that Acer is violating patents for technologies like thermal management and video control. The new suit also seeks to stop Acer from importing and selling PCs in the U.S. Am I the only one who wonders if the following premise remains true: If you are not leading then sue the company that is leading.
