Dumb question

I have an HP flat screen LCD monitor.

What do you suggest to clean it?

There are some spots, etc. that need to be removed.

A soapy water solution?

Thanks for the help.

You will get a lot of conflicting "opinions" on this. One thing to NOT do no
matter who tells you different, is use water. It can get down behind the
works. On my laptops and flat screen desk top I either use the commercial
wipes, which are alcohol, or just use alcohol on a soft clean cloth,
sparingly. An old, CLEAN T shirt works well for me. They are very soft after
they get well worn.

Re: Dumb question

A simple anti-static dust cloth is fine. Now if the issue is greasy
fingerprints then
you probably want to use an alcohol based wipe.
