Hi all

Having a spot of bother with a Compaq Armada M700, the hard drive failed
and I replaced it with a new one.
However I cannot get by the HDD Password Screen (Drive Lock) following
the instructions in the service manual I disconnected the CMOS battery
unplugged the Laptop battery and removed the charger this reset it back
to the factory defaults, however the drivelock settings are grayed out.

if anyone knows how to remove this drivelock password or if there is a
default please let me know.
