CPU Stuck To Heatsink

Hello
I just removed the CPU & heatsink from my laptop. There was no way to get at
the locking screw , so I had to remove both together. Hope I did not damage
anything.
The Cpu is clued to the heatsink. It will not come off. Does anyone know how
to remove the stuck CPU?
Thanks
ron

Yea thats not glue, it's probably dried heatsink compound. If you
arent too worried about looks of the cpu afterwards just take
some acetone and drizzle it around the edge of the cpu and sink.
After a few minutes you should be able to gently separate the two.

I'm looking for a source for working MOCHA micro form
factor pc's. You can reply here or see me at the site
in my sig.

Cheers!
