usb auto detect not working???

I can not get my card reader to auto detect my camera card when I
plug it in. If I click on the MY Comp then my reader the pics come up
but it will not do it automaticly I go to My Comp then RIGHT on the
reader or drive the dialog box comes up for setup I go from music to
pictures then do a APPLY then I even do a shut down and restart still
dose not detect the card I took the reader and card to another comp
just to make sure the reader was working and it worked great Am I
using a wronge port ???and how do I change the ports?????? hope someone
can help!!!!!!!!

Try the article above I think this is what you are referring to for your
camera/card reader. It refers to the autoplay window that pops up when
plugging in an external storage device that can be seen in My Computer
Make sure you have the latest windows updates before you run the autofix
though.
