| DVD stuck in drive. Why? Bad DVD? or Bad drive? or both? Recommend a good DVD drive? A DVD got stuck in my DVd drive, I think it was a Sony drive. the hole worked in that it tried to open the drive, but the tray didnit' come out. It didn't pry out either. So I opened the drive up and removed the DVD. It's not really going to go back together nicely. But what's done is done. What i'd like to know is Was it a rubbish DVD? a rubbish drive? I tend to buy "region free" drives. But maybe I should buy just top makes/models and unlock the region. Any recommendations - bare in mind i'll have to unlock it. So I guess it'll have to have firmware available to do so. |
