Office XP compatable w/ EMachine?

My husband bought an EMachine 3 months ago. His 90 day free trial of Office
expired and he had an option to buy it. Since I have Office XP, I removed
Office from his computer. I then installed Office XP on his computer. I
can't get Outlook functioning properly. All the menu titles and items are
different from Outlook's and the menu does NOT contain "File/Import." (I
saved his outlook.pst file.) What in the world is going on? Is my Office
XP not compatable with his EMachine? (I've NEVER worked with an EMachine
before.) THANKS!

Thank you for your question. The problem is the same as I had on my old
computer. Office is compatible with all systems with Windows. Your
system is fairly new so XP is a sure-fire compatible program on it. You
could try re-installing office. If that does not work, try going to
view, and clicking customize. AKA: Installing Office XP on two systems
without removing it first from the first system is illegal without a
special license from Microsoft that can be obtained for about $100 US
