Turn off usb stick but not printer etc.

Hi,

Is there any way to turn off my usb so when people put a usb stick in
the computer it won't recognize it and won' t show a usb stick on
my computer. I still want windows to recognize my printer etc though.

Ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in Advance,

Daniel

You really don't want to turn off USB, then, do you?

You can remove any needed drivers to make this happen, but if there is
no specific driver for that kind of device, I think you are out of
luck.
Unless you are aslo writing of a specific device -- in which case you
might be able to give Windows specific instructions for how to handle
that device.
