| In search of new graphics card. i'm going to buy a new graphics card because my obboard graphics chip is no good. However, I'm looking for a fairly low-budget card, which'll support Directx9 and have at least 64MB memory. Preferably 128. The problem is my motherboard. http://www.foxconnchannel.com/produc...Name=6514MR-ES (there) Which cards will this support which'll be fairly decent and not too slow? Thanks. Will |

| Re: In search of new graphics card. Can you give examples of what games and/or programs you'll want to run with this card? And post the rest of your system specs too, it'll help pick the best card. | Re: In search of new graphics card. I'm hoping to run programs such as Flash 8, Photoshop and some fairly newish games, that require at least 64-bit graphics. I'm also running at 2.53ghz with 1gb ram (992mb using my onboard graphics card) |

| Re: In search of new graphics card. Depends on how much money I get in the next month or so. But I'm not expecting to be spending much more than £125 (about $250, prolly a bit less) Ideally it'd be around £60 so I can still buy my new speakers too =P But I don't mind going over. |

| Re: In search of new graphics card. Be careful, I just went through the same process only to find out that the card I bought (NVIVIA 5600 Ultra, 128MB) requires at least a 300 watt power supply! My PC is a Dell and uses a custom ATX Power Supply connector so I needed a new PS and adaptor to connect the PS to the MOBO.
