Graphics card (Dual display)

Hey, All I bought recently a radeon 9250 graphics card and it says it
has dual display support but there is only one vga adapter and I cant
seem to find an adapter on the companies website. But, I do have an
onboard card could I just use the onboard as a second monitor?

Thanks in Advance

The card should have a DVI plug as well as a DVI-to-SVGA adapter. That
allows for the second display. If the card did not come with the
DVI-to-SVGA adapter, then you may be able to find one at a local
computer shop, and definitely online.

Re: Graphics card (Dual display)

Seems to me that you got a pretty cheaped down version of the card. If I
were you, I'd see about exchanging the card for one with dual outputs.

Re: Graphics card (Dual display)

Well it does have dual display support just not on the card so we are
probably just going to use my onboard for my dual monitor. But, I do
play on contacting ati's technical support tomorrow when they open back
up.

Re: Graphics card (Dual display)

If the card you have is AGP, your onboard video will be disabled. If it's a
PCI card, then you may still be able to use the onboard.
