| Need Help ! I have been given an older computer 1995 presario it has windows installed but I do not have the past owners password what can I do to gain access ?      |

| Re: Need Help ! have you tried calling microsoft technical support? or HP (which I think now owns Compaq)? I know there's a solution and will look it up. I had a similar problem some time ago. Also, did the computer come with the original installation CD's? Sometimes you can insert a reboot CD into drive, then cold reboot computer to reformat hard disk. |
