Mouse/Keyboard dont respond / USB problem.

I reinstalled Windows XP in my Dell Pentium RT 4, the mouse and keyboard
work ONLY if I connect them to (using) the two USB benind the PC.

If I connect them using a converter (to be plugged there where you see a
small icon with a keyboard and mouse on the back of the PC) they dont work
at all.

Any suggestion as how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Oswaldo
