Faster CPU

I am not a computer genius by any means, so when I had an older computer
upgraded, what was installed was a new motherboard and CPU. The mother
board is an Elitegroup K8M800-M2 board and this supports the AMD Athlon 64
s754 Sempron processor. My system runs at 1.6 GHz. Is there a faster clock
speed that I can set in the BIOS, or a faster CPU that I can get to increase
the speed without changing the motherboard?. I am actually happy to have
1.6 GHz, compared to the previous 650 MHz that I was using.
