Open Outgoing Ports

At my college, all ports are blocked for outgoing traffic except 80 and
21, that I know of. This prevents me from being able to use programs
like portable IRC clients on my USB drive, etc, when at school. I want
to find what other ports are open for outgoing traffic so I can setup a
proxy at home and use it from school. Are there any programs/methods I
can use to find the open outgoing ports (ie, ports I can access from a
computer) ? The program needs to be usable w/o an installation. Thanks.
