After 4 years of almost constant use it appears that the motherboard in
my Sony PCV-LX800 desktop (slim top) PC died. Based on every thing I
have checked, it is either a failure on the motherboard...I had an older
machine and tried using the power supply in that one as well. No luck.

I would like to replace the motherboard, with a similar one. Granted it
is not the most powerful machine around by today's standards but it does
what I want. The LCD screen is still crisp, I finally upgraded to XP
and for what I use i for it was/is perfect.

Can anyone help with options. Searching the web I was not able to find
anything that looked like a drop-in replacement. The motherboard has
built in sound, video, ethernet, USB and Firewire ports.
