Registry Backup

How do I backup my registry to a disk ( CD, floppy ) or do I need to. I
want to clean out my registry because my computer is running lousy. I want
to use RegSeeker. I have Windows ME. In case something important to the
registry is deleted, I think I should have a backup ready. Can anyone help?
Where do I start? Thanks

Use the MS utility SCANREGW that's included with Windows ME.
See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/256419/EN-US/ for details.
