| Util to detect maximum supported HD in BIOS? Going to replace the 20GB in my laptop a bit later on- but I'm unsure of the largest capacity hard disc that's supported in the BIOS. It's a Acer Travelmate 270, latest 1.14 BIOS. Is there any utility that'll display what the maximum capacity HD that the BIOS supports? I don't want to buy a 80GB 2.5" only to find out 60GB is the maximum I can fit. btw I fitted the Toshiba 40GB from my brothers PC, and that worked..but dunno the highest cap of course. ta |
