"HDA Audio bus driver not found!"

So yesterday, my computer froze up. Then when I shut it off, it made a strange moaning noise. When I turned it back on it made a zooming noise. Then when we looked down to the taskbar, there was no 'sound control'. There were, however, two small boxes for SoundMAX Integrated Audio. One said 'sound effects'. I quit the 'soundmax' one and then proceeded to delete it from my computer. The sound effects one stayed, however. I then restarted my computer in hopes that maybe the sound control would return. I then lost all audio. I've tried to reinstall SoundMAX, but I am continuously getting the 'hda audio bus driver not found' popup. I cannot edit any of my sound controls, though I have tried, because they are all greyed out and it says that no audio device is found when my speakers are plugged in and were fully working hours before. Any help? :/
