| Question about resume mode of Notebook computer Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook computer A-60. Weeks ago it developed a strange noise from the fan. I can only hear that when the fan in low speed. The sound seemed like the speed of the fan changing although I cannot tell this with my eyes. I brought the computer to the store I bought it from. They changed the fan. The next day the problem was still there. Anyway in recent days I don't notice the noise yet. But I find a new problem. When I close the display panel, the computer doesn't go to resume mode. The computer still works as normal. BTW, when I got my computer I found some dust cover my computer. And they handed my computer carelessly. This was really not a good experience. About the problem of resume mode, I wonder whether there is a plug connected to the position switch? Maybe the technician forgot to connect it back after he changed the fan. Or, there are some other possibilitiies? such as software utilities. I have downloaded the utilities. I haven't found how to exec it in the manual before I would make things worse. Thanks in advance |
