| CPU Help Hi, I'm having problems with the dealer and my new computer. Its a long storey so I'll stick to the bottom line. What is the better processor: Pentium 4 3.0 800 bus or AMD Athlon 64 3400+ (2.2) 1200 bus. Thank You. |

It has hardware memory protection (which they like to call "Enhanced Virus Protection") - Requires XP SP2 Future Proof - WinXP64 is just around the corner (apparently but I wouldent hold my breath :)) ) - oh lets not forget Linux has supported 64bit for some time now also. Its also considerably cheaper than the Intel processors. and finally I love to see the underdog come out on top :) Its your choice and your cash spend it how you like. If your happy with your purchase then you made the right choice ;) |
