Dear Group: whats the best way to clean pop off a keyboard, I have heard to
rinse it in the shower before, but not sure thats such a good idea.
Thanks in advance.

Re: pop spilled on keyboard

If it's a desktop keyboard and it was diet soda then it should be all
right when it dries out.

If not, then you can carefully remove the screws on the bottom and
separate the keyboard membrane from the circuit board (current models).

Rinse the membrane in warm, soapy water - no solvents! - and dry. Wipe
down any mess on circuit board with solvent - rubbing alcohol should be
ok. Screw everything back together carefully and test.

OR - hop over to Office Max and pick up a cheap, $5.00 Belkin keyboard.

Whatever...
