Keyboard and mouse lock up

This problem was listed prior to the newsgroup housekeeping. After a few
minutes or maybe a couple hours my keyboard and mouse lockup and I have to
reboot. I have done all that was suggested turned off power management etc.
Both mouse and keyboard have PS2 connections. Maybe there is a software
conflict. I just finished runing all the Norton fix it routines.
