Big Difference?

Currently I have a 600MHz CPU with 256 ram. I have a chance at getting a 1.0
GHz CPU (the highest my VC820 motherboard can handle). Obviously I will see
a difference in speed but is it worth it?

it depends on what you are running. if its a program that takes a lot
from the cpu, go for it.
