something wrong with my screen

My screen is enormous horizontally to the point where I can't see the
task bar and I can barely see the Start up button. I've already tried
using the display settings and it is too large to fit in a single web
page. for example, I can only show either the Start button on my
screen alone, or the task bar but thats it, both of them can't squeeze
in on my desktop at the same time. The strange thing about this is
that the screen enlarges on its own, and it used to be fixable by just
shutting the PC and turning it back on, but now it seems to be
permanent. I've already scanned my PC for viruses and nothing came up.

How can I change my screen back to regular settings where I can see
everything without this X-tra large view?

Re: something wrong with my screen

Try the controls on the monitor.
