| XP - new hard drive in USB enclosure I've put a new hard drive in my USB drive enclosure and don't have a clue how to make XP machine find and use it. In my old Win98 machine, I could FDISK one, but there's no FDISK on XP. Can someone please tell me how to make this a useable drive? thx . . . |

| Re: XP - new hard drive in USB enclosure Use your Win 98 pc to create a boot disk That should allow your to get to dos in XP & do an FDISK or use The Recovery Console that's on the XP cd to do a Disk Part. Disk Part is same as doing an FDISK.
