What is a MEMORY.DMP file

I seem to have a corrupted & fragmented MEMORY.DMP file and I need to figure
out how to resore it or defrgment this file. It is 191 MB but it hasn't
seemed to affect the operation or efficiency of the system.
I could sure use some sound advice..............Thanks

Go to Google and type in MEMORY.DMP. I got 2730 hits in 0.1 seconds.

Re: What is a MEMORY.DMP file

Memory.dmp is a file created when your Windows crashed. It is for
professional technician to use specific tool to investigate the cause of
problem.

It doesn't hurt to delete this file.

Run DRWTSN32 and de-select the tick boxes, reduce the logs to 0 or 1.

That'll stop saving the memory dump file after each crash (last time spotted
mine was at 300MB)
