Two drive with WinXP

I made a clone of my main XP drive using Acronis True Image. The clone went
all right but Acronis advised me not to have both WinXP drives in the
computer when I boot up because one of the drives will become unbootable.
Does anyone know why this is?

Thanks

Bearman

Re: Two drive with WinXP

you can not run 2 instances of the same operating system. The boot menu will
only show one choice to boot into in which case you wont have a choice. it
will simply boot into your primary drive. which, you also can have only one
of.

Re: Two drive with WinXP

You will need a boot manager like "PowerQuest Boot Magic".

This will work if XP is a fat 32 file system
